Spartanburg school helps globalbike
The upperschool at Spartanburg Day School is spending their spare time this fall raising money to support globalbike.  This is the second fundrasier at the Spartanburg school.

"This is really exciting, the first time set the record for fundraising for a school," says board chair Curt McPhail.  McPhail went on to say that was is also new about this fund raiser is that the proceeds will assist a new project for globalbike.  "Our board just committed this year to partner with Valid International.  This is an amazing organization located in Lusaka that focuses on child nutrition."

Valid International is recognized in the Nutrition and Health fields for ‘inventing’ a cheaper methodology for treating malnutrition. This methodology that was coined by Valid is called the Community Based Therapeutic Care (CTC) Program. Through the CTC program, children (in some cases adults, especially those living with HIV/AIDS) with malnutrition are identified early by community members and mainly community health volunteers.  globalbike will be providing these community volunteers with bikes.  To request more information about the Valid/globalbike partnership This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
