Phase I of our journey is complete, and we've all marked it as a grand success. Last night, the other members of our climbing group arrived. We had a great meal together and made introductions. There are people from Switzerland, England, Australia, Kenya, Tanzania, Italy, and, of course, the US. Quite the group!

Today we are spending our time sorting climbing gear, packing what we need and putting away what we don't need. Soon we will go visit the Marangu Youth Group, one of KI's partner organizations (and now one of ours!). We will continue our efforts towards ecological sustainability by planting trees with the youth. After that, it's a lazy afternoon, maybe a yoga practice, and then dinner and a good night's rest.
